Into the Realms of Doubt Writen By: Gilbert/Harrison/Morley/Saxton/Timms |
This one isn't actually a post Head First song, it was actually written late 1990 and entered the set soon after. The inspiration for the song was Clive Barker's Hellraiser. It wasn't played that often, but is early example of the new technical style developing, which is why it is included on Head First instead of Days of Darkness. The version on Head First if from The Midland Hotel, Langley Mill on the 27th of July 1991. This was probably the last time it was played, since this was the last gig before Head First.
You're looking for a new trick
To blow your mind
But I don't need drugs to help me
At least not your kind
I'll stretch your mind out to the corners of your soul
Journey to some long forgotten goal
Into the realms of doubt
Looking for experience
To take you to the edge
It's gonna tear your soul apart
Throw you off of the ledge
I'll stretch your mind out to the corners of your soul
Journey to some long forgotten goal
Into the realms of doubt
Searching for enlightenment
The answer to your soul
But no chemical inspiration
Will dig you out of this hole
I'll stretch your mind out to the corners of your soul
Journey to some long forgotten goal
Into the realms of doubt
